June was good to me. Someone in Florida told me “it only gets better from here” it does get better. Some moments that genuinely made me smile💛

Overflowing in gratitude🌈🧸🩵💛🩷🍼So thankful to teach about Self-Compassion practices in medical education. As future physicians, we take on tremendous amounts of our patients and communities burdens, grief, stress, anxiousness and the weight of this life thing. We’ll also experience rigorous residency training filled with the expectations of perfection and diligence to learn to care for human life.

It’s our job to reassure, manage and treat. But how do we release?

How do we balance the daily responsibility of handling life, existing in challenging environments and our well-being? Disconnect, pause, reflect. How are you maintaining?

Thank you God for this opportunity. Now gimme the babies!👼🏽 taken in San Diego, California by @divinelymiracle
