AHHH so excited to share that I’ll be vending at the Día de los Muertos Art Fest with Good Good Collective!! 🌼💀❤️

From the Bronx to Brooklyn, baby!! 🗽 So happy to be repping the Bronx and sharing my art with everyone. I love what Good Good Collective does for the community, and I’m so happy to be part of something that brings so many creatives together. 🫶🏽

This is my FIRST TIME EVER vending, so I’m definitely nervous but super excited!! 🥹 I would really appreciate the support, so come say hi, check out some art, and celebrate our ancestors!

Dear summer,
you found me trying to put myself back together
and you reminded me why I create ✨

This summer taught me that being an artist isn’t always about the ending piece
It’s the journey, the memories, the emotions, and the people who were there with you.
That’s the part I get to carry with me 🥰

This summer, I started creating for the fun of it again
Just because I wanted to make something

When I couldn’t express what I was feeling without crying,
I picked up my hook and my yarn.
I poured everything into my work because, at the time, that was all I could bring myself to do.

I saw art in everything 💕
In the shape of a leaf, in people dancing, in live music, in the cultures coming together.
Shoutout to the Bronx. 🫶🏽

I used a lot of red, a color that would intimidate me before 🌹

I really got into making wands ✨🪄
Just for the fun of it
And now I’m already brewing with ideas to dive into sculptures again

The beauty in life became my muse
The trees inspire me 🌳The music inspires me 🎶The people inspire me
Life inspires me💕

Nature became a huge part of my inspiration.
The trees, the greenery, the tiny details in a leaf.
It started showing up in my wardrobe, my colors, my textures, and my work 🍃

And somewhere along the way,
I started making something that has been very special to me
Keep an eye out for her 🤎

Music healed me 🎵💕

I used my wands everywhere 🌻

I started crocheting with embroidery floss and tiny 1–3mm hooks.
It takes forever.
And somehow, that was the point

I wanted to learn to slow down and appreciate the craft
It stopped being about the finished piece
It became about the journey

Where I took it
Who I was with when I made it
Even the handbags I threw my work into along the way

I started stepping outside the lines.
Experimenting with textures, winging it, making things without a plan, and letting them be imperfect.
I remembered that I’m allowed to just make things

I danced a lot 💃🏻

A very Haaland summer 🤭

The first time I heard live music this summer, I cried.
I watched people dance, laugh, and enjoy the moment without being on their phones.
Seeing them happy made me happy 😊
