Highly requested video on my home crafted cleansing Florida Water. An ancient, sacred elixir used to bring in purification, blessings, protection, spiritual insights and clarity — using various herbs, spices, flowers, and citrus elements. This water carries the healing and energetic properties of the plants, providing vibrations of renewal, ease, and spiritual connection. Infused with love, purified intent, and ancestral guidance. You can utilize in a spray bottle as a ritual or offering, to cleanse yourself and spaces you dwell in. An anointing and protective shield. Much better than any store bought FL water, which are usually highly concentrated with chemicals and unnatural dyes. Always starting with fresh herbs at the bottom of the jar, so that those properties can really pull. Then adding dried herbs, spices, flowers, and waters will be last. Allow this infusion to marinate for at least a full lunar cycle, for max potency. Everyone has their own unique way of crafting this formula, so you can adjust to your liking. Usually it’s 3 of each element, however I was called to add much more for this particular batch. I don’t do measurements. Every day on this Earth is a ritual. Having herbal tea daily, has especially become a sacred ritual for me. I truly in-joy being in ceremony with the herbs and healing properties they bring. Listening and knowing exactly what herbal allies my body calls for, is a divine calling. This practice has been held in high regard with cultures worldwide, since ancient times. There’s something very peaceful and spiritually grounding about taking time to brew the healing magic and patiently await the steep. Chanting and repeating affirmations to call in the day I wish to receive. Or if in the evening, gently releasing the energies of the day. Pure Alchemy. Every sip feels like a warm hug embracing my body, filling me with the deepest sense of gratitude. Eye feel so connected to my Ancestors and the wisdom of the Earth, as well as the culture of my East and West African roots, when in tea ceremony. Herbs are so powerful and medicinal. Make intentional consumption a routine and you will thrive. This practice is also what led me to guide and hold space for sacred plant medicine tea ceremonies. Serving up tea has grown to be such a potent love language for me. There’s so much intimacy in serving others through herbal remedies. Often times it’s not just the plants that provide the healing, but the one who prepares it with intention, as well. Purple dead nettle in abundance. Not to be confused with stinging nettle, it’s named “dead” because it does not have the stinging effect of regular nettle. This plant is in the mint family and holds numerous medicinal benefits and many uses. Not only is it edible, it can also be applied directly to wounds, due to it’s anti-inflammatory and anti-disphoretic properties. So if you see this plant outdoors, or even in your own backyards, do your due diligence in harvesting as much as you can because they do grow abundantly - but only for a short season. Craft into tea, tincture, salve, infused oil, or sprinkle on your salads. I was called to work with this medicine for healing tinctures. They will be listed in the shop once marinated for 6-7 weeks.Being initiated on this medicine path has been the most enlightening and healing journey for me.
