My AUX KEYS approach to BOLAMU by @divineyala 🎹

For this version, my goal was to give the studio version a LIVE feel, add more COLOUR, MOVEMENT, and TEXTURE without OVERCROWDING. Aux keys isn’t about playing more.. it’s about playing what’s missing & bring out emotion of the song.

Texture = impact 🎶

Also shoutout to my brother @eliezer_nsitu for the strings 🎸 ! taken in Canada by @divineyala

✨ “In my distress, I called upon Him, and my cry came before Him, into His ears.” — Psalm 18:6 ✨

It has been such a joy and an honour to walk alongside Divine Yala on this journey. Supporting her vision and helping her bring this deeply powerful song to life

Belela carries a message that has deeply blessed us, and we pray it blesses every ear and heart that hears it.

I don’t even know where to start with this post. A BIG thank you to @neoteric_records (the billionaire label) for the opportunity. When they initially reached out, I was over the moon. The opportunity to collaborate with @glelo_ was one I couldn’t pass up and my new dream team behind the label made sure my stay in the UK exceeded any expectations. You know you’re having a time (which you’ll probably pick up on from the many videos and pictures in this post) when all your days blend into one. From the camps, to the debates and discussions, the endless food at sessions, the new inside jokes and me getting them to use my lingo 😏, I get to leave this experience with a new family and I’m so grateful. This whole experience has taught me so much about myself and I’m taking everything I learned with me forever.

We definitely cooked some things up for you guys and I can’t wait to share it with you all! And as always, to God be the glory. ♥️

Ps: if you haven’t streamed victory & reside by @glelo_ OR followed him, what are you waiting on?! Stream my guy. Immediately.
