Last day for bidding @murmurs.la

My piece is called ‘Shaheed’. It means martyr and witness. In Allah’s eyes, the sick are martyrs because we witness our death before it arrives and we, at whatever pace, die at the hands of the world. The bull represents the Earth, strength, and how it is only a matter of time before we are all thrown. No one is exempt. The niqabi woman tells a story of anonymity and spiritual modesty, but most importantly being known to Allah and only being seen fully by Him. If the world does not see you, it does not mean you are not seen. You are a star in the heavens.

Don’t leave our star behind.
