There is so much more to strength than what meets the eye!

Mesmerized by last night’s breathtaking journey into Shakti presented by Sreepadam School of Dance under the artistic direction of Divyaa Unni! The performance beautifully reminded us of the unseen power that breathes life into everything we do—from the sun that sustains our world and the earth that nourishes us, to the arts, music, and dance that nourish the soul.

It’s the force that gives us the power to think, act, create, and keep moving forward. ✨

The evening was a stunning showcase of traditional Bharatanatyam, blending crisp geometry, sharp footwork (talam), and dynamic group formations in pure dance (nritta) sequences. Through intricate facial expressions (bhava) and hand gestures (mudras), the dancers brought profound philosophical concepts to life with grace and precision.

The absolute highlight had to be the ending—it was truly amazing when Divyaa brought all her students together on stage for the grand finale!

Huge kudos to Divyaa and every single dancer on stage for such incredible dedication, storytelling, and stage presence last night! Truly a feast for the eyes and the spirit.
