I honestly don’t know what my life will look like a few months from now. And I’m okay with that now.

At the beginning of 2026, I had a lot of goals in my head. Honestly, the same thing happened in 2025 too. I had planned a lot and thought about where I wanted to be.

But most of those things didn’t happen the way I thought they would. And now, with 2026 already in its last stretch, I don’t even know if this year will happen the way I wanted it to.

And strangely, I’m okay with that.

Because one thing I’ve noticed in the last few years is that whenever I plan something too far ahead, things somehow end up going in a completely different direction.

Sometimes better, sometimes worse, sometimes completely unexpected.

So I’ve changed one thing about the way I think now. I don’t plan my life too far ahead anymore.

I think about what I need to do today, maybe tomorrow, or the next month or two. That’s it.

Something unexpected can happen tomorrow and change everything. When that happens, you just have to accept it and figure out what to do next.

That’s also why I don’t really believe in manifestation.

A lot of people do, and if it gives you hope or helps you move forward, I don’t think there’s anything wrong with that. Everyone sees life differently.

But after everything I’ve experienced in the last 3 to 4 years, it just doesn’t work that way for me.

For me, it makes more sense to focus on what is in my hands.

Do the work. Take care of what needs to be done today. Think a little about tomorrow. And let the rest happen when it happens.

And there’s one more thing I’ve started believing in even more.

God.

No matter how things are going, good or bad, I feel like at some point you just have to trust that there is a reason for what is happening, even when you don’t understand it.

I still make plans. I still have goals. I just don’t hold onto them so tightly anymore.

I’m learning to do my part and let time do the rest.

Maybe that’s all I need to figure out for now. by @dixit_dave_
