Great evening at the Coastal Conservation Association (CCA) Baton Rouge Chapter Banquet last night!

It was wonderful to see so many friends and supporters come together for a great cause.

Louisiana’s coast and fisheries are among our state’s greatest treasures. Protecting these resources is essential to preserving our economy, our outdoor heritage, and the traditions we pass down to future generations.

As a state legislator, I appreciate the work CCA Louisiana does to advocate for our fisheries, restore coastal habitats, support conservation efforts, and educate the next generation of outdoorsmen and women.

Thank you to the CCA Baton Rouge Chapter, its leadership, volunteers, and sponsors for another outstanding event!

That end zone right there Fall of 2004. Coach Weiner let the backups in and we scored! Triple option right to DC Christopher. We got flags on the play for over celebration but Coach didn’t make us run cause he never thought we would score! 22 years later and on the call for 11 years some amazing memories hear at Olympia!
