Originally from Maryland, now a staple in the Denver scene, Devonte Brown, aka @dizzygotdubz, is a true veteran of the craft. With 15 years of production under his belt and a DJ career that began at just 12 years old, he was quite literally born into sound system culture through the family business, Emperor Sound. That lifelong immersion is evident in his deep, technical selections, landing him on powerhouse labels like @deepdarkand_dangerous, @thegradientperspective, @ldh_records, @hemi.wav, @nicendeadly, @sum.r.r, @bhump_records, @defy_culture, and @cimmerianrecords. Playing at @bigdubfestival, @theblackbox5280, @cervantesmasterpiece, @larimerlounge, and the legendary @mishawaka_amphitheatre among others, Dizzy! brings a seasoned energy to every room he plays. We are proud to present our next Dub Den Full Venue Takeover at our home, @theblackbox5280, on April 25th. Holding down the main room for this one will be @dizzygotdubz @samiknoxsounds @dumpling.music @eylxr_ and the Dub Den Showcase presented by @chefwamp @fauhxmusic @tiip_sound and @whiskerzmusic. In the lounge, we have the 4th iteration of Collective Unity, a series designed to bring together the collectives holding down the Colorado underground scene. Through collaboration, anything is possible. When collectives unite, we combine our strengths to continue building the underground scene that we all love so dearly.
