So I went to a show to preview it for suitability for my kiddos (wow we will need to be careful!) and I actually had a great time at @bts.bighitofficial ‘s Day 1 show in El Paso last night! First live show of any kind I’ve seen as an audience member in umpteen mumblety wedon’ttalkaboutthat years, and wow! You guys are world class entertainers, that was a hell of a performance! Mad respect for your dancers and tech and backstage crews. I hope they know that their work is seen and admired. The crowd was really sweet, too. A lil unhinged, but super sweet and helpful. Definitely a nice change from my previous large show crowd experiences! Seeing the moon rise over the mountains towards the end of the show was something pretty special. Music was my deepest peace for a while, then I lost most of it. Now I’m slowly backfilling with some of the sounds that used to shape my world, and falling in love all over again. Just a few, here and there, filling in the gaps where the opportunity presents itself. This particular rather eclectic haul is dedicated to the people (aside from my kids, who really started this but who are not on social media) whose music woke me back up after over a decade of silence. @ejae_k , you started this for me then @agustd drop-kicked my ass into remembering just how MUCH I missed the music that beat my heart for me, and made me want to learn how to do more with it. @rkive and @thv , your voices are in my ear when I’m 35000 feet in the air, the only place that feels like home. Thank you. I needed this. by @dj.cdag
