My father, Michael Kelly’s obituary and service details are now online at Glenville Funeral Home and will appear in print this Sunday in the Times Union.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, November 25th at Glenville Funeral Home, 9 Glenridge Road, Glenville from 4pm-8pm.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, 167 Milton Ave, Ballston Spa, NY 12020 on Wednesday, November 26th, 10:30am.

Burial will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Troy. by @dj.hunter.ny

Yesterday morning my father Michael Kelly passed away suddenly, he was 66. Words fail me in this moment of intense sadness. I loved my father deeply and this goodbye is far too soon. Thank you for the love, kindness, and strength you’ve given me. You will always be with me ❤️ by @dj.hunter.ny

Last night I was informed someone has sent an accusation against me to a local business of a nature severe enough I’m no longer welcome there. DJ’ing is my primary career at this time so this hits hard financially. It’s also worrying learning someone feels this way about me.

I’m not one to avoid accountability for my actions, or deny hard truths, and I’m proud of the person I’ve worked hard to become. If there is someone who feels wronged by me I understand how complicated the matter of justice can be.

The primary fact I want to establish at this point is no one has made an attempt to hold me accountable in private or public regarding any unresolved grievances.

I’m not suggesting I’ve never done anything wrong or ever failed to live up to my ideals. However, I am confident in saying I’m a safe person to be around publicly and privately.

I hope as a community we can work towards reasonable standards for holding one another accountable. If someone wants to begin an accountability process with me, directly or mediated, I’m listening.
