UNAA and FINA world finals has come to an end. This year I set out a big goal of getting a top ten finish in 30+ males. I started my week landing 19 and 18 respectively in my FINA ninja disciplines which I was very proud of!

Then comes UNAA the big goal, I felt the pressure really hard in prelims having an ok run I got into the final round somehow and seeded ok. Once the pressure was off we sent it for finals and I had the run of my life. We landed second in the whole world! 🥈but the best part of all of this is sharing the podium with my teammates and good friends, Nick, Curtis and Gia who is the world champ! So proud of all of you guys.

Thank you to my students and friends for cheering me on. My coaches James and Nate for getting me through an insane marathon week of courses. Matt my spirit animal for showing up randomly right when my run started and screaming his face off. I am forever grateful for this community we have all built together.

I also coached so many athletes and I’m so proud of each and every one of you for stepping on that start line and giving it all you had!

Head to head ninja racing today. Oh my was I terrified to race. I just missed out on the top 16 bracket races, taking 18th in the world! Another top 20 finish. This was my second run of the 2 where I shaved 10 seconds off and got the dub! Very proud of myself. Thank you to Sean for coaching me through this and again to my amazing cheer squad!

The coolest thing about this though was my first race I raced against a guy all the way from Japan! I don’t think I’ll ever get to experience something like that again. He was so wholesome and a real cool dude 🙂 check the logos on the back of my new jersey!

Did a comp yesterday for fun and to get ready for finals in one month!!! I’ve been training harder than I have in a few years (could go harder but yeah lol!) I finally felt the hard work paying off. Besides a few silly slips, I felt super strong and confident!!! This run was good enough for another 🥇

Arthur I love when you coach me, you know my skills well and how to adapt them to the course. You are becoming a great coach yourself! Congrats on the win in pro against a stacked field!

I usually turn the sound off my vids but Molly is so kind an amazing commentator so we leaving her in 😂 ninja is cool community 😎. Thanks @ninjasunitedgyms for an amazing comp as always! by @dj.scoops
