A quiet moment of respect for the great Mighty Sparrow.

Calypso has lost of it's greatest voices, but the music, the stories, the wit, and the spirit he gave to the world will never be forgotten.

His contribution to Calypso and Caribbean culture is immeasurable. Generations grew up listening to his voice, learning from his words, laughing at his humour, and feeling the pride he carried out of our culture.

Today, we remember not only the artiste but the legacy.

Rest peacefully, Mighty Sparrow
Your voice may be slient, but your music will continue to speak for generations.

Respect Honour Gratitude 🕊🕊 (1935-2026)

LIES!!

SWIPE ⬅️ What a show! 🎶 Thank you to everyone who tuned in and enjoyed the latest SOCA music on #Caribbeansocashow @legacy90.1fm studios 🎛🎧🔊🌎🎙📻🎤🏝⛱️

Today topic is CARNIVAL CULTURE!

When does celebrating Caribbean culture become TOO sexualised?

At what point does personal freedom and cultural expression become sexualisation and who has the right to draw that line?

I'd love to hear YOUR thoughts in the comments!
