Big ups to @marcelpblackofficial for the love. Like he says, this one’s for the culture of hip hop and we want to include the whole of the Tulsa community of hip hop. Come through, help us to create a bi-weekly hip hop haven for the heads looking for like minds. We build together. Mad love to the @thesoundponybar for letting us explore where this goes. Just a group of people rapping and cutting without y’all. We provide the platform, you make the event a real one. #tulsahiphop #hiphopculture #turntablism #lessonsinfreshcrew by @dj.somar

Our friends in KC, @kuhldjskeem & @djhighnoone, bringing some super dope lineups at @funkontherooftop every week. But every year they put together a lineup that would rival any other event, not just in the US, but in the world. Don’t sleep on this one!!! If you love turntablism, if you love Hip Hop culture, this one is a must see. by @dj.somar

Respect to @lofitulsa for putting on some people who truly love music!! Shouts out to @afistaface, @nosamyrag, @djalcompton, @heartwerkdj, and special props to @fellowtraveler32 at @monadrecords!!! Homies keeping wax alive, and LoFi lets us be truly ourselves and share in our love for this organized noise. That said, if you like good food and good drinks, I’ll be manipulating sound Friday 10/9 starting at 7p. Hope to see some familiar faces. by @dj.somar

Started DJing because of hearing DJs on the radio. Never thought I’d be heard over FM radio, but here we are. I still appreciate that fact even after hours spent with Tulsa hearing my sets. Tune in to 105.3 KJAMZ around 8 for a new mix. Swipe left for the setlist. #radiodj #hiphopdj #turntablism by @dj.somar
