Both natives of California’s Central Coast, Matt & Mason (aka DJ 2BAD) are no strangers to the EDM scene. The duo first began making waves in 2023, playing sets at local spots like Motav and The Library in San Luis Obispo, where they quickly built a reputation for bringing high energy and tight selections to the dance floor. What started as a few local bookings has since grown into a larger project, with the pair now helping organize and headline multiple recurring EDM series around SLO.

Known for their versatile style, 2BAD blends everything from house and UK garage to other groove-driven IDs and beyond. Their sets are built around rhythm, momentum, and crowd connection, creating an atmosphere that keeps people moving from start to finish.
