Every open format DJ needs to learn how to reset a room. You can’t play one genre of music the entire night. There are far too many who fall into that category and those resets that happen throughout the night will have a bigger impact. I got a story to tell through music and the song choices that I make have intention behind it 🫱🏽‍🫲🏾🫶🏽

The thing about this industry is time flies. Months feel like days and days seem like just mins. Over the years, I’ve had the pleasure crossing paths with Austin on the regular. Whether it’s a Sunday at McGillycuddy’s or switching sets with him taking over the rest of the night. On this specific weekend it was the Shamrock Shuffle. I had a triple gig in one day and I was gonna be in a world of hurt after I was done. We were both exhausted and Austin was still positive and showed me it would be okay. Since moving to Milwaukee in April, Austin was one of the DJs I wanted to get to know better, even when he made the decision to move to Nashville, I know we would have bumped into each other in this market. I am grateful for I have met you Austin and thank you for making me a better person. Rest easy bud @dj_soppa 🕊️❤️🫶🏽 taken in Milwaukee, Wisconsin by @dj4matik
