When we first came up with the idea of The House Of Happiness we wanted to show that being sober is not boring and over the last 4 years we’ve proved it time and time again 💃🕺🪩. What an absolute privilege it has been to be resident DJ for such an amazing event - no alcohol no substances just pure LOVE for house music and human connection - a truly unique and amazing experience. Yesterday was our final event and the vibes were absolutely mind blowing! What a ride it’s been @jayney_xoxo @neilhudsonbasing we made it happen!!! Love to everyone who came it was emosh. Keep raving and see you all soon 🙌🏼🎶❤️🙏. by @dj_barroness

Hey y’all 👋🏻 We’re sad to say that we’ve made the difficult decision to cancel our rave on 2 MAY due to poor ticket sales and to let y’all know that our final event will take place on 3 OCT 🥺

We’ve made it no secret over the last year that ticket sales for The House of Happiness have been a struggle. And it’s become unsustainable to run the events on uncertainty & dwindling numbers.

We get that life is busy, bloody expensive & not everyone can come to every event. We’ve tried to keep going, find ways to reach new audiences and get the word out there. It’s also harder to compete with bigger events/ festivals that charge the earth for tickets. We know it’s an issue with other smaller other events too. But these challenges make it financially hard to throw our events. It has also meant it’s been a bit harder to find the enthusiasm to keep going.

Though it’s never been about the money or making a profit - we simply haven’t wanted to compromise on the vibe or how we deliver things. And we haven’t. So we’ve reached an acceptance point that if it’s no longer needed, that’s cool…. CONTINUE TO THE MUSHY BIT IN THE COMMENTS 👇🏻👀 by @dj_barroness
