Nutrition in schools has always been a huge problem in this city. For too long our kids have been taken advantage of by profiteering sugar pushers. That's why I went deep undercover, into the belly of the beast, to cook scratch recipes including fresh fruits and vegetables. And what I found was shocking! Heres some food! Jamaican butterfish filet, in coconut lime broth, with braised kale and tomatillo salsa..
A couple really good budget bottles of wine! Tapi is literally delicious. Bright, lemon, apricot, and the minerality that is characteristic of sauvingon blanc from Marlborough. Easily my favorite region for that varietal. The other is a red that i really like and you might recognize from last of us... Louis Jadot makes great wine in my opinion. You can find it at pretty much any walmart or liquor store, or anywhere with a good selection of cheaper options. If your looking for something a bit nicer by this vineyard then check out rare wine on 13st. They have a 2017 Bourgogne that will make you a believer! Have a good weekend! by @dj_dangerdad

Had a good time cooking dinner last night. Trying to get back to my roots with some chicken and potatoes that wouldve made grandma Gloria smile. Pan fried chicken thigh, yukon gold mash, cherry tomato gravy, red cabbage quick slaw.
Ive been going to @vyneyardwines alot lately for this budget bottle of pinot noir. New world pinots are it for me and this one is as good as they get. Great for cooking and better for drinking. by @dj_dangerdad

It's been a while since we've had dessert on so I figured I would put my culinary skills to use this week! After some trial and error I managed to make something delicious.
Lemon and olive oil cake, with spiced coconut caramel and fresh blackberry preserve. This is not only totally vegan, but also gluten free. A perfect cheat day treat for even the most tedious diet restrictions! Only @auntsetuncles for a limited time.

Merry Xmas yall.. here's a hot cocochata. Coconut oil washed rum blended with plantation pineapple, spiced holiday syrup blended with coco Lopez, topped with steamed coconut milk and nutmeg. It's like Coquito and horchata put together! taken in Aunts et Uncles by @dj_dangerdad

This is the espresso martini.
Rule 1.. this is made with rum. Sure you can have it with vodka but why
Rule 2.. keep it simple. I don't want to see cream or kaluah or bailey's
Rule 3.. if it doesn't have espresso in it it's not an espresso martini
Rule 4.. you can have this drink literally any time of day. It's the pizza bagel of martinis taken in Aunts et Uncles by @dj_dangerdad

So this was a combination of drinks.. I started with a Oaxaca old fashioned and thought it should taste more like a last word and ended up with a margarita. Mezcal, jalapeño tequila, pineapple syrup, Cointreau, orange bitters, lime juice.. this is La Ultima Rita! The last margarita you will ever order. Rim with tajin if you feeling trendy.. by @dj_dangerdad

Whatsup! Back again with another refresher for that pallette. The raspberry rumble! I did another version of this last summer with blueberries and a way too complicated pineapple gomme syrup. This is way simpler and gets its pineapple flavor from plantation pineapple rum which is literal🔥. Top it with soda for the crisp and pull up cause I'm probably only doing this tonight lol by @dj_dangerdad
