Had the pleasure to open at the very first Coffee Rave at Babe Coffee Lounge in Land O’ Lakes! It was a gathering of many talented artists and House music DJs all under one roof! Loving the Babe Coffee Lounge DJ family and artist community!

Before the room moves, someone has to give it a reason to.

Meet DJ Diplomatico — Chicago-raised, Tampa/St. Pete–based, and one of the artists discovered through the Madame X Collective Casting Call.

His sound lives at the intersection of house, Latin influence, lounge sensibility, and global music — shaped by a belief that music can carry culture, create familiarity between strangers, and turn a room into common ground.

For Diplomatico, that connection matters as much as the track itself. His selections pull from different places and traditions, but the intention remains the same: bring people together through sound that feels warm, expressive, and alive.

And on Sunday, September 27, he has the first spin.

As the opening set of The Coffee House Collective, Diplomatico takes the decks from 12 PM–1 PM, setting the tone for everything that follows — the first beat, the first movement, the moment the room begins becoming something more.

From the casting call to the Collective, this is exactly what the platform was created for: discover the sound, create the space, and watch what happens when the two finally meet.

His vibe?

ROOTS & RHYTHM.

Where culture finds its tempo.
Where the day finds its beginning.
