Progressive and house music may be my roots, but Techno had my heart last Saturday at Exchange LA. Sharing it with 1,100 amazing people was unreal and unforgettable 🖤 Huge thanks to @exchangela @thefactory93 @insomniacevents and @space92__official for having me! 🫶🏾

Among Friends Presents: NANDU at an open-air rooftop venue in Los Angeles

Coming up in Copenhagen as an artist built on independence and originality, Nandu has moved through genre defining labels including Innervisions and Afterlife. His run with Tripolism gave us Dope Dance, Sunrise, and Soultrain, records that landed in sets worldwide and earned Dope Dance an Essential New Tune from Pete Tong and a spot in his top five of the year.

He has taken his sound to Berlin, Barcelona, New York, Hong Kong, and back to LA, and every city leaves a trace in the music. On September 18 he plays Among Friends with support from HBB (Among Friends), EminKHA, and Sashimi.

We may have lost but we had so much fun doing it. Seeing Iraq play in the World Cup was such a beautiful, healing experience. Made even more special doing it with your literal day 1 🫶🏽

Our annual July 4th event, featuring Barbossa, continues in Santa Monica with an open-air journey from day into night.

Barbossa, best known as one half of Sparrow & Barbossa, is an Uruguayan DJ and producer raised amid Afro-descendant communities in Uruguay, where Candombe rhythms shaped his early musical foundation.

Through his duo project and his solo work, Barbossa champions Afro Latin house, blending tribal percussion and ancestral rhythms to connect cultures through music.

Supporting him we have an amazing lineup featuring Simone Glad, KMNI, HBB (Among Friends Records), Sauaro, and Leron.

Expect sun-soaked grooves, sunset magic, and a dancefloor that doesn’t quit. taken in Santa Monica, California by @dj_hbb
