Over time, I’ve realized that I haven’t spoken much—or at least not openly enough—about the Hemolymph project. I’ve never truly shared how deeply I’m connected to music and my profound desire to share all of this with the widest audience possible. For me, it has never been about money or the ambition to stand out in such a controversial industry, one capable of alternating between moments of great glory and periods of total decline.

It all started as a game, born from the simple desire to throw parties. Then, little by little, this passion turned into studio work. The studio led me to focus on technique and experiment in countless ways. From there came the travels, nights spent in underground clubs, and the relentless search for something new—or rather, something rarely heard. It was through this search that I developed the desire to showcase these sounds, to make them heard, and to ask myself: “Okay, I’m presenting this… but what’s the audience’s response?” This process has sparked countless layers, which continue to evolve every single day.

Hemolymph is the attempt to find the right record at the right time. I’ve accumulated so much music that even a lifetime wouldn’t be enough to listen to it all. It’s a mix of genres from all over the world, though I feel that the UK sound is what I most identify with as “home.”

Then there’s Ritmo Futuro @frittofm , which represents the daily sharing of my work: a radio extension that allows me to broaden my musical vision alongside those who challenge me, question what I do, and help me grow. It’s built on discoveries—on unknown music shared by others, on moods or fresh energy brought back from the latest festival experience. These vibrant, dynamic connections are what hold the projects together and keep this “machine” running.

With @fleurs_sonores , everything took shape. It became something concrete, something defined. Together with Gianpaolo, we built a solid foundation—a platform to develop a musical offering that unfolds in multiple forms. Fleurs Sonores is the party: a tangible, collective experience that continues to evolve, thanks also to the constant efforts of all the people who share this journey with us.

Spinto dalla curiosità per i diversi modi in cui le persone vivono la musica, Hemolymph indaga il sottile dialogo tra l’individuo e l’ambiente che lo circonda. Influenzato dalla cultura electro, bass e break della sua città natale, Bari, Giovanni ha affinato la propria visione artistica durante gli anni trascorsi come DJ a Londra, prima di co-fondare il collettivo romano @fleurs_sonores .

I suoi set combinano pattern ipnotici a bassa frequenza con percussioni spezzate e ad alta intensità, muovendosi con naturalezza tra gli 80 e i 160 BPM. Questo approccio distintivo ha trovato spazio in club, web radio e listening bar in tutta Italia.

Giovanni Olivotto is the creative force behind Hemolymph, a project that pushes the boundaries of how we listen, feel and connect with sound.

Driven by a fascination for the many ways people experience music, Hemolymph explores the subtle dialogue between individuals and their surroundings. Shaped by the electro, bass and break influences of his hometown Bari, Giovanni sharpened his artistic vision during his years as a dj in London, before co‑founding the Rome‑based collective Fleurs Sonores.

His sets blend hypnotic low‑frequency patterns with broken, high‑energy percussion, moving fluidly between 100 and 160 bpm. This distinctive approach has resonated across clubs, web radios and listening bars throughout Italy.

Giovanni is a monthly resident on Ritmo Futuro on Fritto FM and the mind behind the Fleurs Sonores parties, which bring international underground artists to the heart of Rome’s nightlife.
