My life changed the day I understood that choosing myself was not selfishness.
For a long time, I accepted situations that did not respect me, I said yes when I truly meant no, and I held on to relationships that drained me just to avoid disappointing others. But I eventually realized that you cannot truly be at peace when you keep abandoning yourself. The day I started setting boundaries and choosing myself too, some people walked away — but for the first time, I stayed with myself. by @dj_linzo1
