POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Closed off this years adventurers of cons with Horrorhound and I finally got to meet Freddy Krueger himself along with other legends such as The T1000 himself, Nathan Baesel(Leslie Vernon in behind the mask which is a classic mockumentary with its sequel finally happening), Sean Clark (great handler for these cons, and has posted some fun filming locations videos on his YouTube account), Airon Armstrong (who played michael Myers in a fan film MANY years before officially playing him), and Paul WS Anderson (writer and director behind classics such as Mortal Kombat, Event Horizon and the first 6 live action Resident Evil films. I also met Malcolm McDowell but didn’t get much sleep and rejected the free selfie so I could go energize and eat instead of nearly passing out, but he was really lovely and I’ll have to take him up on that offer next time.. by @dj_mosier

About a week ago, my mommom/grandma passed away after a long bout of health struggles. I have taken that time to grieve and remember her as she was but I wanted to differentiate with my tribute and share this hilarious memory from 15 years ago.

My mom was in the hospital for a week or so after neck surgery, and so mommom helped babysit or stayed over I forget actually, but during one of those days, she asks for an m&m and being the young gremlin I could be at times I was like no. A few days later, I dropped an m&m and asked her not to eat either green or blue or red m&m and she replied “this one?” And promptly ate it shocking little me lol. I’ll always cherish those times and the stories she’d tell along with the elderly wisdom many give but with her passing, beyond my papaws wife Brenda (who I don’t really have much of a bond to, she’s not a bad person I just don’t know as well as I did with mamaw and mommom), I have no grandmas left which is a weird feeling to see happen in real time and further shows that I and you guys should cherish every moment you can with your grandparents. by @dj_mosier

Went with my cousins to see @evil.engine.9 . They used to practice in my family’s garage at our old house and now years later I went to their reunion show which was pretty fun and for what it’s worthy they’ve still got it 🔥
The mosh pit was neat and there was even a dude recording with his phone and tablet lol by @dj_mosier

Comic Con 2026 was pretty fun and I got to cosplay for the first time. I also got to meet several actors and voice actors I’ve wanted to meet for ages(Nicolas cage was a surprise addition) and they were all super nice and awesome. Also got to meet several other people and other cosplayers there who were sweet and even went to where John Mellencamp was born. by @dj_mosier

Horrorhound 2026 was a great time besides the 45 minute adventure of getting a parking spot. Finally met the other two living cast members of the core four survivors from my favorite zombie film dawn of the dead (1978)(THANKYOUGAYLENFORTHESHIRTCOMPLIMENT) and some other legends today like Mick Foley, Lita, Danny Trejo (he was super sweet), Joe Dante and Nancy Loomis (too many to list), and I finally got myself goodies from the Troma vending table. All in all a fun time (rip the photo croppings) by @dj_mosier

The end of an era in wrestling.

Growing up, John Cena was a huge inspiration for me along with Daniel Bryan (super nice dude to meet irl he’s so nice) and my favorite for the longest time. While I think the retirement tour was a mixed bag overall I think the impact and legacy he has left behind is huge and cannot he unseen. Many many Thanks @johncena for the many memories and matches and love you gave to one of the most entertaining things to watch it was a joy to have grown up and lived through it all, especially seeing heel Cena. Can’t wait to see his acting side of things really pick up now (go watch peacemaker he’s great in it and funny and emotional) but I won’t forget the person who said never give up that I got to watch as a boy all the way to the man I am now. ❤️ by @dj_mosier

We’ve lost another.

Unfortunately the world also just lost who I can not only describe as the wise woman of the family, one of the smartest people and greatest I ever knew but mamaw has left the building. This might be a bit lengthy as her and papaw’s house was a second home to me and there’s so much story so much that I wanna put into words but can’t due to text limit. But to start off, Mamaw was someone who did NOT take any crap from no one, child to adult she always stood her ground firmly even against Papaw(who did not like Monopoly lol). She always made sure that you felt welcomed as shown with Anthony and other examples I can’t think of off the top of my head and that she loved her family deeply.

I am forever grateful that she is the one who got me into the NES, into the super Mario bros franchise and Castlevania(which I BEAT BEFORE ANYONE ELSE IN THE FAMILY WOOOOOO) and really a big reason of why I’m into gaming at all. I won’t forget how you described to me the tale of learning of Dracula’s second form which was for those who never played 1 not in the guidebook and then being absolutely destroyed and never beating the game ever, which made me beating it a great honor to text you and Levi with the pictures as I was so proud after many years of trying. I won’t forget you poking fun at princess peach being in another castle or how you were the best banker in Monopoly in the family and how you whooped everyones butt in the legendary 4 hour Uno game of 2022 among other memories. I definitely won’t forget how you got me into westerns especially with your favorite show Gunsmoke and Clint Eastwood films(she even met an impersonator in the 80s I wish I had the picture on hand). I definitely won’t forget how good it was to see you after the family drama crap that happened and how we’d resumed our strong bond since.

I’m so happy we got to watch Indiana Jones 4 prior to Dial of destiny and I also won’t forget mamaws “evil finger” of pointing when I didn’t eat. There’s many years worth of memories I wanna cherish with me, I’m forever grateful for the wisdom you gave me and being proud of my first audio drama. Love you forever❤️

Earlier this morning my grandpa Lou passed peacefully in his sleep. To those in the family and those of you who never knew him, he was without any doubt one of the kindest souls the world had to offer and was nothing but a loving husband, dad and grandfather. I’ll always cherish the times we had and how you were always full of kindness and comedy at times but above all a person with heart. If there is a heaven he is without any doubt there but besides that the world really lost a good person today.

He lived a long life of being in the navy, then becoming a monk and above all a family man. I hope we all can learn your secret to making it to 91(he was Mr. Clean) and never aging.

Love you always Lou❤️
