Humbled by bolting again. We only lost a few salads this year instead of 100. #brooklyn #gardening #problems #lettuce #knicks by @djacactus

I wanted to get an early start on the garden this year and direct sowed seeds on March 31st. I decided to try a fast turnover garden comprising of fast growing lettuces, radishes, salad turnips, and Chinese cabbage in hopes of getting a nice lil salad harvest as I put in my tomatoes and summer squashes as the weather heats up. After 3 weeks and a nice little trim, we’ve got some nice looking rows of greens. by @djacactus
