At the Original Pop-Up! we celebrate the culture of old skool DJing, collecting vinyl, and sharing our selections with YOU!
We aim to bring something a little different to Portishead and hope you enjoy partying with us. See you in the Precinct on Saturday!

Big love to Ian @longwellrecords for inviting me to spin some of my favourite tunes yesterday at the Farewell to Longwell closing party at the shop in Keynsham. Excellent vibes with the most lush people…

As 2025 draws to a close, it’s nice to look back at this year and say a big thank you to our DJ friends who have joined us for the Original Pop-Up! sessions at The Port and Portishead Precinct. A big shout out to:

It’s true to say that Portishead hasn’t had a regular DJ based event for as far as we can remember so we feel blessed to be bringing talented vinyl DJs to the town and sharing record collections with you.
We have some exciting plans for 2026 so do keep an eye on this page and join us in the new year both in person - and online.
And if you can’t wait until next year - we’ll be supplying party classics all night on New Years Eve - all roads lead to @theportbaruk !!! taken in The Port by @djaceroneuk
