POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

WHAT A WEEKEND! A year and half ago we embarked on this journey and started the Dawgs with the goal to get to tier 1 and we just did that!!!

Dawgs could not be a better name for this team and everyone in this program. Everyone has worked so hard to get here and I could not be more proud and grateful for everyone. From traveling with 8-9 guys to tournaments, late night flights, late night practices and everyone grinding in the gym, scheduling tournaments to help fundraise, finding sponsors to back us, running social media accounts and everything in between I just want to thank everyone for their hard work and dedication to this.

@bromontana1 and @jdac_volleyball thank you for taking on this journey as co-owners y’all have been here since this was just an idea and we had no plan yet you still took the jump into this to try and make it happen. @acfalle our captain I know we had to convince you to play but can’t thank you enough for joining us and being our captain. You keep this team together and have been the one that’s lead us here on the court from the start.

Thank you to our sponsors the past two seasons @trucarve @roundupsaloondallas @mns_cpa @dallas_premier @modelwellness for supporting us and helping us make our goals a reality. A huge thank you to every single person that’s supported us on this journey. Y’all inspire us every day to go out and represent Dallas volleyball and be the best we can be and we love all of you so much.

Thank you to everyone in the gym. Every single person that has come through our gym whether that’s just to practice or travelled to tournaments every single one of y’all has contributed to this goal and helped us get there.

A huge thank you to my amazing girlfriend @becka_storms for always supporting me in this goal and helping out any way she can and being there for me through hard situations where I was stressed out trying to make sure everything worked out. I wouldn’t have been able to do this without your constant love and support and I appreciate it so much.

We have officially made it into Tier 1 and we don’t plan on stopping there. Super excited to see where we go from here and be on the lookout for more from us! by @djacobsvball

And just like that our main season for the year is over. Words can’t describe how grateful I am right now. Thank you to everyone who supported us this year and motivated us to represent volleyball in Dallas the best way we could. Thank you to the VLA for providing us with an amazing tournament season and growing the sport of professional volleyball in the US. HUGE thank you to our sponsors for letting us represent you and making our season a reality. Thank you to everyone who helped make our season a reality and worked behind the scenes to make sure that we could be successful. Thank you to all the guys that have played with us this year including those who weren’t at the cups every single one of y’all grinding in the gym made this team better and contributed to our success. Truly grateful to have had such an incredible season as a first year program. A huge thank you to everyone who helped us along the way and we look forward to bringing y’all so much more very soon. by @djacobsvball

Before I go and make another post about this past weekend I just wanted to highlight two people that have really pushed me to be the player i am today and probably would not have made it this far in volleyball without.

CJ I can’t even count how many hours we’ve spent in a gym together, how many teams we’ve played with each other on or against. But we’ve been working our asses off for almost 10 years and you always push me to be a better player. From playing with each other on Ascension to playing against each other Imi Ola vs Dallas Dawgs it’s always fun and always brings out the best in me.

Alex, I hate you. I’ve never had anyone tell me I sucked at passing more than you have. But from pierce college to being the first in our friend group to get our AA😏 to playing at Ottawa university to winning every westside we played in along with CJ to being the best guitar hero/rock band duo the US has ever seen you’ve been right there with me.

Thank y’all. taken in WAVE Volleyball Club by @djacobsvball
