I wouldn’t usually post this, but my mum watched my stuff to see what I was upto and let me know, and send me a message saying nice to know your okay. I miss it. 💔

Dear Mum,

Two days ago was 2 years without you. No warning, no goodbyes. It’s been a heavy couple of years—trying to find my footing again, to figure out what’s next. Just searching for something that feels worth working toward, something that brings more than a little bit of clarity. I know what those things are, but they feel harder to reach now. Still, I’m pushing forward.

I haven’t yet worked out how to continue your legacy without any guilt but I promise I will. It just looks so different without you. I’m forever grateful for the time we had—our little family: Dad, Natasha, Amy, Troy, Mason, Sophie, Elaina, Olea, and Penelope. It was precious but cut off far too short.

I catch myself wishing I hadn’t taken it all for granted. Some days I look around and feel confused, angry, and empty about what we’ll never have. You always saw passion, skill, and talent in me long before I did. Your instincts, your support, your unconditional love—everything you gave was for my good. I’m sorry it took me so long to see it clearly. Now that I do, I just wish I could show you what the potential you saw has grown into.

I hope you can see me from heaven. I hope you’re watching, protecting us, and proud of what we’re becoming. I hope you’re guiding our family in a direction you see we need to go, I feel you pushing me out of the darkness. I miss your voice, your smile, your energy, your anger, your cheekiness, your messages, your phone calls, our love for shoes, our love for music, our passion for basketball but I’m grateful for every memory—every video, every photo, every moment that reminds us of the beautiful mother and best friend you were to us all.

I’ll keep remembering who I am, what I stand for, and how deeply you loved me—even through my roughest parts. ❤️‍🩹💔

I love you endlessly. I wish my phone would light up with your name and picture again 🤍
You are the coolest and most special mum & always knew just what to say—to all of us.
Love you forever, Mother of the Angels. Diana Angeloudis by @djangeljay
