In August 2025, my dad was diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer — Diffuse Large B-Cell Lymphoma.

What followed was a year none of us could have imagined.

From August to November, we were constantly in and out of hospitals as he underwent chemotherapy. The disease was resistant, and the results were devastating. His doctors recommended higher-dose chemotherapy, hoping it would turn things around.

Instead, it triggered neutropenic sepsis.

He fought for his life in the IICU for almost a month, with us camping there beside him throughout December, refusing to leave his side.

Against all odds, he survived and came home on 1st January 2026.

We were told he would probably continue to weaken and wither away, but we weren't ready to give up. We explored every avenue — therapeutic ketosis, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, repurposed medicines, supplements, nutrition, and above all, hope.

Slowly, something remarkable happened.

He began getting stronger.

By the end of February, he was walking again, going shopping, taking daily walks, and slowly living his life. Day by day, he defied everything we had been told to expect. Even his doctors were surprised.

For a while, we truly believed we had beaten the odds.

But fate had written a different ending.

He suddenly developed pain and was put on morphine and fentanyl. The medicines controlled his pain, but left him bedridden again.

About a month later, his oxygen levels began to fall. We rushed him to the hospital, where he spent three days on high-flow oxygen. We brought him home and continued supporting him with high levels of oxygen.

A few days later, on 27th August, he passed away.

We tried everything — every treatment, every option, every possibility, every ounce of strength we had.

We fought alongside him until there was nothing more left to fight.

The last year brought fear, exhaustion, hope and heartbreak.

And now, finally, his suffering has ended.

My dad is free.

Free from the pain.
Free from the hospitals.
Free from the medicines.
Free from the fight.

I hope wherever he is, he is finally at peace.

You fought harder than anyone I have ever known, Dad.

We love you.
We miss you.

Rest peacefully, Dad. ❤ by @djasenofficial

In 2007, I self-produced my very first event… inside our college classroom. 😂🔥

We literally transformed a regular classroom into our own little nightclub.

Cardboard over every window to block out the light. Coolers sorted. Refreshments and beverages arranged. Music cranked up. A 2-bass, 2-top sound system, console, lights, friends—and absolutely zero concern for what a classroom was supposed to be used for. 😂

We moved the desks, cleared the floor and turned that four-walled classroom into a party zone.

And the funniest part?

The entire college was jealous of what was happening inside that one classroom. 😂

No fancy venue.
No event company.
No massive production budget.
Just a bunch of crazy college kids, a love for music, and the determination to throw a party that nobody would forget. taken in Oriental College of Education by @djasenofficial

POV: What They See vs What I See 👀🎧

What They See: A DJ pressing buttons.
What I See: Reading the crowd, timing every transition, building energy, choosing the perfect track, and turning strangers into one dancefloor.

There's always a lot more happening behind the decks than meets the eye. 🎶🔥
