A new summer series celebrating community, music, and beautiful moments together. Some things are bigger than any one place. What makes a night special is the people around you, the music moving through you, and the feeling of being present in a moment worth remembering. That’s what Heart of Summer is about. In This Together Events is proud to launch our new summer series with an evening featuring @simondoty — one of the most compelling voices in melodic house and techno. Known for his emotionally rich sets and ability to take a crowd on a journey, Simon Doty is the perfect artist to open this new chapter. Simon Doty brings a signature sound defined by gritty textures and tough, driving grooves; formative influences like Hot Since 82 and Jamie Jones are now counted among Simon’s most ardent supporters. Industry icons Pete Tong and Danny Howard have taken notice, with regular first plays and support on their BBC Radio 1 programs. Opening the evening, Schrils & Paul bring a vibrant mix of funky grooves, bouncy rhythms, and feel-good house selections designed for the perfect sunset vibe. With infectious energy and playful flow, they set the tone for an unforgettable evening ahead. Join us at Buena Onda — a stunning outdoor venue — for a sunset evening of world class music, feel good vibes, and the loving community we’ve spent years building together. It is our deepest hope that the energy we create together leaves you feeling better than you arrived. Never forget, we are ALL In This Together. by @djaudiopool
Hey everyone — I wanted to address this directly because many of you have been reaching out and you deserve to hear it directly from me. After five years, my partnership with Hotel Californian and Sunset Sessions has come to an end. I fought hard to find a path forward, and continue the series as planned, but we simply couldn’t make that happen. What is important to know — none of the artists originally programmed for this summer will be performing at the hotel going forward, such as Mikey Lion programmed to play tomorrow. If you bought a ticket and would like a refund, reach out to the hotel directly. You are entitled to one. The hotel will be continuing their Sunday programming, but it won’t be hosted by me — and I believe will not have the production or the heart that has always made this series so special. But I’m not done. What we built over these years was never about the venue. It was about the music, the community, and those special moments that we create together that stay with you. When the air is electric and beauty is all around you. So — In This Together Events is launching a brand new summer series called Heart of Summer. We’re kicking it off next Sunday, July 26th, at our first new venue, Buena Onda. Kicking off the series will be Simon Doty along with Schrils & Paul as was originally planned. Tickets for the event are live NOW, link in bio. Finally, thank you for the love and support this week. All the messages and outreach has meant everything as I navigated this transition. This is for you. The Heart of Summer is for you. You are the heart of summer. So I hope to see you next Sunday. Please share this news as I want to make sure everyone is aware of this change. Hope to see you there, and never forget...We ARE ALL In This Together...thank you for driving that home to me this week. by @djaudiopool
Excited for an amazing show with David Hohme today at the Hotel Californian! David Hohme is an incredible artist and a real inspiration for me and everyone else on the In This Together team. He just released a recorded set on YouTube for the event we produced together last year on the roof, and it was so lovely to relive that evening. What a special night, excited to do it again tonight! Final digital tickets available online, soon to sell out! All remaining tickets will be at the door! Hope to see you all, much love and happy 4th 🇺🇸. by @djaudiopool
Sunset Sessions welcomes @mikeylion to the Mirador rooftop. As the co-founder of @deserthearts , Mikey Lion has become one of the most recognizable figures in the West Coast house music scene. Known for his infectious energy, eclectic selections, and signature blend of house, techno, and feel-good grooves, his sets create an atmosphere that’s equal parts dance floor and community gathering. It’s a real honor to showcase Mikey this season and we can’t wait for this show. Opening the evening, @nostalgicdreamersofficial sets the tone with a warm blend of deep house, high energy melodic rhythms, and sunset-ready grooves. Their thoughtful selections and uplifting energy provide the perfect soundtrack as day transitions into night. An intimate setting, a legendary selector, and a sunset that never disappoints. NEW VENUE TBD!!!! Heart of Summer will be partnering with @leyouth to a new venue. We have been hoping to work with Le Youth for a few years now and the timing never worked out so we are super excited to have him perform this year. Blending nostalgic melodies, lush textures, and uplifting rhythms, his sets create a powerful sense of connection—guiding listeners through a journey that is both deeply personal and undeniably danceable. A set you surely won’t want to miss. Opening the evening we have @rmartinez81 aka Raquelevate, an LA powerhouse best known for her weekly online Twitch Radio show. She will set the tone with a refined mix of deep groove, melodic house, and trance selections, creating the perfect foundation as the sun begins to dip over the coastline. An intimate setting, a globally recognized artist, and a sunset that never disappoints. Tickets in bio, will certainly sell out 🎟️ 📸: @bobtmtn by @djaudiopool
