Last night was bittersweet. ❤️

I was fortunate enough to perform my set at OC Pride, and @djaurasjosh got to join me onstage for “Risk It All.” Unfortunately, his own sets were canceled, and knowing how much time, work, money and heart went into preparing for this night made it even more disappointing.

Just a reminder to fellow artists: respect your set times. And to those running events and stages: please respect the countless hours, preparation, and heart that go into every performance. We don’t just show up and get onstage. ❤️

Artists, dancers, DJs, and everyone behind the scenes put so much into creating these moments, and that hard work deserves to be seen and respected. I was fortunate enough to see what you guys were creating during rehearsals and it was a shame that the public couldn’t see it.

But despite everything, I’m grateful we still got to share THIS moment together. ❤️

Josh, I’m proud of you, friend. Proud of what we’ve created, what we’re building, and everything that’s still to come for the both of us.

And can we PLEASE talk about our girl @savage.kouture in the audience singing every word and hyping us up?! 😂🔥 THAT is the energy we live for!

To everyone who showed up and gave us love, THANK YOU. You remind us why we do this.

We’re not done. Not even close. ❤️🔥

A little behind the scenes from Verse 2.

In this breakdown, we’re showing one of our favorite production details that gave the second verse a fresh identity. By reintroducing the piano in a new way, we created more movement and variation to keep the arrangement evolving and the listener engaged.

Sometimes it’s the smallest elements that make the biggest difference.

🎧 Which detail should we break down next?
