📍Downtown Chicago | Black Girls Code x CCC Intelligent Solutions

This week, my daughter and niece had the incredible opportunity to attend a one-week Black Girls Code camp hosted by CCC Intelligent Solutions 🙌🏾💻. From coding fundamentals to exploring the power of AI, they were immersed in a world of innovation, creativity, and sisterhood.

So proud of these young queens stepping into STEM with confidence and curiosity. Huge thank you to CCC for creating a space that empowers and uplifts our future tech leaders 👩🏾‍💻✨

This past Saturday, I graduated from Chicago Urban League’s IMPACT Leadership Program affirming one of the best decisions I have made! Embarking on this 9 month journey with 46 incredible Black Leaders (E11evation) was a distinct honor and pleasure of which I have gained deep connections and commitments with a renewed purpose. To be honest, the real work starts now. Thank you to my family and friends for the support! Thank you Akua Bonsu for your encouragement and the Chicago Urban League seed you planted within our family! Thank you to FPT for sponsoring me. I am ever grateful for this transformational opportunity!

The countdown is ON! Sunday, April 20th, we are honored to present our second Africa Out West in partnership with Kehrein Center for the Arts @kcachicago 🌍🎶✨.

This FREE concert experience features Farafina Kan, the debut of Bala Fanga, Chicago’s own Azania Drum and DJ Bonsu🔥.

Africa Out West is bringing us together once again to honor Chicago’s rich legacy of West African and African diasporic culture. This celebration will feature performances by three tradition-keeping ensembles dedicated to preserving, expanding, and pushing forward the history and spirit of African and African diasporic music and culture.

As always, this event is FREE and open to the public. Link in bio to RSVP 🖇️.

Again, this will be a night that you CANNOT miss🔥!

Tag someone who you want to bring in the comments!!

Join us for a pre-performance reception with complimentary food and drinks at 4 pm and then the show at 5 pm!
