We’re finally sharing a piece of our wedding day for our 3-year anniversary!

Most people don’t know this, but we never posted our photos, and for the first year we didn’t even tell anyone we were married unless they were actually there. Our wedding was really small, about 70 people, a micro wedding ! so a lot of family and friends weren’t invited. We even asked guests to keep everything unplugged and offline until we were ready.

The truth is, we’d been trying to get married since
2017. Life kept happening - babies, losses in the family, COVID, plans getting pushed back over and over. One morning we just woke up and agreed that no matter what it looked like, we needed to get married. Even if it wasn’t the big wedding we always pictured.

From the moment we said “let’s do it” to the day we said “I do” was six weeks. Yes, Six! It was small and intimate, and not everyone could be included. But that was never about our love for the people in our lives. We still plan to have a bigger celebration in the future with more of the people we value and love.

If anyone felt left out, I truly apologize. This was something I took on and planned pretty much myself with a small team helping make it happen. Thank you to everyone who has always supported us and understood our journey.

Here’s a snippet of how our day went, three years ago
