I can’t believe it’s been 3 years since my last voyage to the great beyond! A lot has changed, I’ve changed.

I’ve made so many friends from this gathering—some even from Chicago, lol! I don’t take for granted the incredible gift of getting to dance on the earth with my loved ones 🫶

Here’s some memories of mine of the first 3 years (2021-2023).

2023 was the year I got to play. It was so fucking hot that day. I remember dealing with some dizziness before my set 👎

But I was filled with so much joy seeing friends from all over the Midwest and beyond bouncing around despite the heat. So I thank everyone that showed up and everyone else is excused 😝 taken in Minnesota River Valley Sanctuary and Retreat by @djchiapudding

⋆˚꩜｡ It’s been over a year since I’ve graced the decks in public, and I’m all charged up and ready to go in! I’ve had a really rough past year with lots of nice things sprinkled in. Connecting with the *dancing* aspect of this scene over the past year has been some of those nice things. I’m so grateful that I still have two feet to move, even if not in the same ways as before.

A few days before @djscari invited me to play, I started feeling like I was ready and excited to DJ again. So s/o to her for receiving my spiritual text message! Looking forward to playing some tunes on the funktion-one for all my friends in the @lake.effect.records crew.

I hope to see all my favorite dancers this Thursday! I’m on at 11:30, but you should consider popping through early to avoid the cover charge and check the DJs before me :)

I included a lil vid of me playing the last Lake Effect party Arianna invited me to dj at! Honestly one of my favorite DJing moments caught on camera 🥹 by @djchiapudding

Taking a small break from my life getting shaken up via eclipse season to remind you that I’ll be playing 2 upcoming parties!

Saturday in Madison I’m super excited to play Jams and see all my Wisconsin friends 🥹🫶 My heart has been preparing this set for awhile now even if my circumstances (ie: external hard drive crashing) have prevented me from preparing as much as I would have. The sound was amazing when I caught a Jams party back when they were still at Robinia, and I’m excited to play some tunes on the new set up at the new place 🤗

Next Friday I will be making my Primary debut in support of Mia Koden and Anna Morgan. Hyped to welcome Mia to Chicago to rinse some heat for my fellow bass heads 😈🔊

Hope space and time allow you to catch me soon 💛 by @djchiapudding

Hiiii! I’m back from my Norway/Netherlands combo vacation and lemme tell ya, I’m truly yearning for total disintegration into the earth and/or moving to a Dutch city. The only thing keeping me tethered to Chicago is access to quality Mexican food and my friends at this point!

And while I’m still here, you can catch me this Saturday selecting with @alinajdi.world upstairs at Schubas. Really love @773flowstate —they do an excellent job curating parties and bringing all of my faves to Chicago. I have not been to Schubas, so I’m excited to check it out, and you should check it out with me—get there early bc I’m kicking it off at 9pm 🤙 by @djchiapudding

I made my return to smartbar, as a guest, last week for @clubchow ‘s party—which was sick af, btw!

While outside smoking on the OTHER side of the entrance, I had a chaotic encounter with someone who had to have been black out drunk. I might have been *shook* by this incident, but I understood the wild ass dynamics that result from said state.

I relayed this story to my therapist explaining that I used to have a binge drinking problem where I would often lose consciousness. She asked me how that changed, and I explained—with tears of joy and gratitude running down my face—that discovering quality dance music changed that for me. It gave me an outlet to be myself and an avenue to reconnect with my body and emotions 🥹🥹🥹

I’m very grateful to be in a position to return to DJing and dancing—two things that mean a lot to me. Even if this foot healing chapter isn’t complete!

Hope to see you all at these gigs that are coming up:

🌍 What up, earthlings! In case you haven’t heard, me and Ryan will be doing the damn thing with signal clearance and crew next weekend. Stoked for my first chicago set post accident and to be going to a damn r*ve in general (it’s been a min). So pack your overnight bags and grab a ticket via @signalclearance Also I love how my nails match the flyer. The flyer was made after I did my nails—coincidence? I think not. 🔮 by @djchiapudding
