Ever since DJing the Herald Chili Cook-Off, country music has been pulling me in. 🤠🔥

The storytelling.
The emotion.
The way a song can feel like a whole little movie.

I get it now.

But I still missed the house beat, the hip-hop bounce, and the bass that makes people move before they even realize they’re dancing.

So I told my friend Gabby I was working on a country mix that she might actually appreciate…

And she said, “I don’t think there’s anything you can do to make me like a country song.” 😂

So I had to hit this mix for her one time.

And clearly… it worked. 😏

I think I might be onto something.

Early in the mornin’… @yaasacramento Gala Edition 😂💜
We had the sweetest time celebrating Youth Aviation Academy and all the young leaders who are literally learning to take flight. 🥹🙏🏽✨
We’re so proud of everyone soaring to new heights… this nonprofit is changing lives in real time. ✈️✨

And when the DJ played the line dance? You already know we had to get up and fly a little 😂

Dad almost joined us but said “not this time”… his takeoff got delayed 😭✈️
Guess we gotta teach him so he can retry his flight plan 😅🫶🏽
Comment below if you wanna see Dad do the whole line dance! 👇🏽😝 or if you wanna buy one of his super fly, handmade walking sticks/canes 🦯🪄🤙🏽🥰

The band was playing On Broadway… but somehow we ended up doing the Lucy Pearl line dance. 😭😂💃🏽

One thing about me and wifey… we gon find an 8-count SOMEWHERE. 🤣❤️

💃🏽: @shakeema.prescott

Be honest… are we the only ones who hear a song and immediately start matching line dances to it?! 😂

We’ve been wanting one of these for a while. 🥹🌱

Something big enough to meal prep for the week, cook what we’re growing in the garden, and feed everybody when family comes over.

So we finally did it. Our first Blackstone. 🥰 And of course, nothing around here is ever just one step. 😂

Episode 30 of Jasmine Tee Lane is up now!

And y’all, we’re getting SO close to our first 1,000 subscribers on YouTube and being able to monetize this little channel we’ve been building. 🥹🙏🏽🌱

If you follow along here, follow @terrellrenee or @djcookiedoe you’re one of our friends or family, or you’ve just been quietly enjoying our garden, animals, projects and all the things we’re figuring out along the way — we would really love to have you over on YouTube too.

It costs absolutely nothing to subscribe, but right now it would mean so much to us. Every single person gets us a little closer. 🌱

Jasmine Tee Lane on YouTube.
The link is in all of our bios.

And if you’re already subscribed, send this to somebody who might enjoy life on the homestead too. 🥹

Come down the Lane with us. 🌱🥰

Apparently we didn’t have a pest problem… we had a not-enough-cats problem. 😂🐈‍⬛🌱

This week on Jasmine Tee Lane, we’re telling the story of how our little barn cat crew came to be… the ones who found us, the babies born here, the ones we’ve loved and lost, and how these little hunters became a pretty important part of keeping this homestead running. 🥹

And y’all… WE NEED YOUR HELP.

We’ve officially crossed the watch-time requirement for YouTube monetization. 🎉 Now the only thing standing between us and that milestone is reaching 1,000 subscribers.

So if you follow us over here and you’ve been enjoying our little life on the land:

🌱 Please go subscribe to Jasmine Tee Lane on YouTube.

It’s completely FREE, takes a few seconds, and right now it would genuinely make a huge difference for our little channel.

Already subscribed? Send this reel or our newest episode to ONE person who might like our garden, animals, projects and general homestead foolishness. 😂😅🥰🙏🏽

We’re looking for our first 1,000 people down the Lane.
Come be one of them. 🥹🌱

Episode 29 is up NOW on YouTube: Jasmine Tee Lane.
