I prayed and prayed for you and you came as a sudden surprise. I Always wanted the title of Grandpa and today I’m celebrating my first Father’s Day as one. Walking in and seeing your big eyes open and your feet kicking away means more than anything in the world. Made my fathers day super special 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼 Thank you Jesus for my Santi Benito #grandpaday #fathersday Nowhere else I’d rather be than right here by @djdapechmode

DÍA DE LOS MUERTOS VENTURA!

It’s that special time of year when we come together to honor those who came before us, carry on the traditions of our ancestors, and welcome our loved ones back to the land of the living.

A time for remembrance, celebration, and keeping their memories alive through music, art, culture, and community.

Because as long as we remember them, they are never truly gone.

Multiple stages, live music, cultural performances, cantinas, art, community ofrendas, lowriders, local vendors, and a downtown bar & business crawl!

Two days. Seven blocks. One community.

📍 Downtown Ventura

Last nights trunk or treat was unlike any I have ever seen before. So many happy kids in one small location. I wasn’t sure what I was gonna do with it but I knew I had to make something with this set up right here. @djdapechmode you knocked it out the park with your setup and the event in general. Congratulations!

Took me a minute to take it all in …

Yes we handed out 800 Pumpkin Buckets and ran out 30 mins in , Had close to 100 Cars and trucks , lots of amazing vendors and lots of “ you did and amazing job “

But that’s all means nothing compared to seeing all of the underprivileged kids smiles. One after another after another after another. They kept coming ! So many of them with no costumes but with colored shirts as costumes 😭😭. Nights like today makes me feel how truly blessed I am. This is the first but never the last event I’ll be doing for these kids in South Oxnard. Thank you Jesus for allowing me to use my voice to help your children 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼. Also need to thank all the Car clubs , solo riders , vendors , volunteers and Oceanview School District ( mar vista , Oceanview ) for making this all possible.

THANK YOU🥀
Dia de los Muertos is more than an event—it’s a celebration of our culture, our memories, and the people who came before us. None of this would be possible without the incredible sponsors who believe in our vision and invest in our community. Thank you for trusting us, standing beside us, and helping us create a free celebration that brings thousands together to honor tradition. Your support makes all of this possible. by @djdapechmode

Recuérdame…

Last year, we launched our digital ofrenda and invited the community to upload photos of their loved ones who have passed. We had no idea how meaningful this shared space would become—or how many stories, memories, and hearts it would hold.

Whether you’re taking part in this tradition for the first time, unable to create an altar at home, or simply want to share your loved one’s legacy with the community, we invite you to place their photo on our ofrenda.

You are part of our family, and we will honor your loved ones with the same love and care we give our own. Together, we keep their memories alive.
