You’re almost 18 months old.
That means you’ve lived 13,260 hours.

Out of those 13,260 hours, I was only granted about 100 hours I could spend with you.

That’s less than 1% of your life.

And out of those 100 hours, only 8 hours were unsupervised.
That’s less than half of one percent of your life where I truly got to just be your dad.

Most people don’t know this story.
Those who do are left speechless.

No one knows how long I’ve been fighting for you. No one sees the battles I’ve faced, the weight I’ve carried, or the sleepless nights I’ve spent writing document after document—fighting for you. Because you are always on my mind.

I have never stopped. Even if you don’t see me, know this: I am still here. Still fighting. Because I love you. No distance, no obstacle, no person will ever keep you from me.

Being the #same never made a #difference. So I made sure being #different is where I stay #consistent

I wrote that for anyone that feels like they need to be someone they’re not.

From surgeries to the face, body changes, personality, income. To how we interact in social environments, or who we think we need to be to fit in.

It’s crazy how many struggle for it; However once achieved it’s still unsatisfying.

You can spend a #lifetime chasing who you think you need to be. But it’ll only take a moment for you to understand how important you already our.
