Another absolute euphoric 6 hour open to close set with the lads @djsashaofficial and @djjohndigweed in NYC. The @knockdowncenter is really an A+ venue and never disappoints. No one else I’d still chase the sunrise with other than these two- the last hour was especially excellent on the back of the re-release of Northern Exposure for the 30th anniversary- some real emotion in that room. taken in Knockdown Center by @djdivixtrd

Had a flashback today of the Twilo Reunion a month and a half ago back in March and realized I never posted the very few photos I had from the night. It was hands down a time travel experience- back to when NYC club culture was peak and you didn’t have to go deep into the Brooklyn underground to find a decent night of music. The energy in the room was contagious. Something I hadn’t felt in decades. The excitement of exploring a space with winding halls and staircases, finding interesting spots to chill or take in the tunes, discovering different vantage points, a constant evolution of the vibe. Danny’s STAX did the job- the audio was phenomenal and layered in a way I’d never heard before with custom ceiling hanging multi directional immersion from octagon tweeters and giant 16 foot woofers in every direction. The crowd was especially great- full of old heads and aging ravers, moms and dads and even entire families with grown kids for a multigenerational party experience. Digweed delivered an absolutely unforgettable set, followed by the birthday maestro Danny T- notably John hung out in the booth for a good portion of Teneglia’s set- something I’ve rarely seen him do over the last 20 years raving to him. There were more waters being drunk than booze, everyone was friendly and striking up conversations, if you’d told me I landed in 1999 I would have 100% believed it- supported by the club fashion from a generation of party people who haven’t been out in two decades. An amazing night, one I hope they can figure out how to recreate again. taken in Twilo by @djdivixtrd
