The DJ D. Jones experience — elevated.

Allison & Will’s wedding at University Club Chicago was everything. 💍✨

From a breathtaking ceremony to an elegant dinner and an off-the-charts party, the dance floor was packed from the first song ’til the lights came on. No skips. Just vibes.

I brought the crew:
🥁 @dariusdrums77 on drums
🎸 @sammitchem_ on guitar
🎷 @jimmyjazz15 on sax

Together we delivered that signature DJ D. Jones hybrid sound — classics, chart-toppers, even festival drops. It was luxury meets lit 🔥 💛

Major love to @aparisevent & @pariseventsaudrey for making the day smooth, stunning, and effortless. Y’all crushed it. 💐

Press play and step into the energy.

WORTH THE FLIGHT.

Miami, you gave me a reason to bring a little extra.

Burgundy double breasted suit. Free flowing shawl. Left the button down at home and let the gold chains have their moment. 😂

Last night at @thebathclub_ , I had the pleasure of celebrating REBORN with @dj_malike_ and his @curate_entertainment family along with @chrisweinbergevents & @petalprod Incredible company, beautiful surroundings, and so much creativity in one room. Loved being there to celebrate and take it all in.

And getting in front of the lens with @themonochromaticexperience ? A highlight all its own. One of the best in the business, and these photos speak for themselves.

To all of the the teams that collaborated to make this night happen, thank you for a night worth showing up for.

Flight booked. Look delivered. Memories made.

DRESSED UP. ALL IN.

CJ & Liza brought their people to Revel Motor Row, and their people came ready. Hands up, heart-shaped shades on, and the kind of dance floor you want to jump right into.

I loved being behind the music for this one. Nothing beats watching a couple let loose with everyone they love.

CJ & Liza, thank you for trusting me with your celebration.

Party rocked. Memories made.

BLACK-TIE OCCASION. ROCKSTAR ENERGY.

Three minutes. Sound on. This is a chapter of the Rich Rockstars story I’ve been waiting to share. 🔊

Back in 2015, I started building DJ hybrid experiences around one idea: keep the original records people love, the flow of a great DJ set, and the electricity of live musicians all moving together.

That vision became part of what @perrydontae and I bring to every @therichrockstars performance. And when we invite our friends? The possibilities get even bigger.

A couple of years ago, I imagined a new way to bring vocals into that experience: short, explosive performances woven into the DJ set. Big records. Three-song medleys. Outfit changes. A fresh entrance and another reason for the room to lose its mind.

Between those moments, I keep the music moving. The musicians stay connected. The party keeps its pulse.

Last night at @ivyroomchicago , Abby & Jayson’s wedding brought that vision to life.

Mickey on vocals.
MJ on guitar.
Irving on sax.
Perry Donta’e on drums.
Me, DJ D. Jones, behind the decks.

Rich Rockstars + Friends. One incredible couple. A room that came ready to celebrate.

This recap gives you three minutes of what happens when a wedding becomes a headlining experience.

For the most important party of your life, let’s give your people something to talk about.

The lights moved. The drums hit. The whole room shifted.

@djdjones controlling the pulse. @perrydontae bringing every record to life. Two artists moving as one, turning a celebration into a private concert.

Couture polish. Live-performance electricity. Unapologetic energy.

This is Rich Rockstars.

THE PARTY IS THE HEADLINER.

Every room tells you what it needs.

Sometimes it needs patience. Sometimes it needs familiarity. Sometimes it needs one unexpected record that changes the entire temperature.

My job isn’t to force the moment.

It’s to recognize when the room is ready—and know exactly where to take it next.

The room changes here.

MISSION ACCOMPLISHED.

Jess and Josh’s wedding at @maedistrict in Chicago had a whole night’s worth of “you had to be there” moments.

@tiffanymooreviolin set the tone with live violin from ceremony through cocktail hour. Then I took over with a mini dance set before dinner even began. This crowd was ready early.

After dinner, @jimmyjazz15 surprised everyone with live sax in the dining room, joining the newlyweds as they led their guests back into a completely transformed party space. Chic speakeasy vibes. Disco balls throughout. Three straight hours of nonstop dancing with yours truly.

And yes, there was an epic T-shirt toss.

Huge shoutout to @missjonileigh and @_eleganteweddingsandevents team for keeping every moving piece on track while we kept the energy high.

Jess and Josh, thank you for trusting me with your night. We made every chapter count.

Gala vibes first. 2000s party after dark.

Chazz and Christian’s wedding at Walden Chicago began with classic soul, funk, and timeless selections from Stevie Wonder to Amy Winehouse. Elegant, soulful, and perfectly matched to the room.

Then 10 PM hit.

We flipped the script, turned up the energy, and launched into the best of 2000s pop, hip hop, and party anthems. The dance floor stayed exactly where it belonged: packed.

Congratulations, Chazz and Christian. Mission accomplished.

Riley and Mickey understood the assignment.

An elegant celebration at @tortoisesupperclub turned into a full downtown Chicago experience. A packed dance floor, live sax in the mix, and a room that stayed completely locked in from beginning to end.

Every room has a rhythm. Saturday night, we found it.

Riley and Mickey, your party was officially crushed.

Even @therichrockstars need a day off.

@djdjones and @perrydontae trade wedding emergencies for a wild Cape Town adventure. But after eight minutes of peace, the Beat Beacon calls again.

Next stop: Lagos.
