The best leaders don't use the same strategy in every situation. Same dancers. Same connection. Different dance. On the left: Konpa. On the right: Kizomba. They look similar. They even share historical influences. But they demand different movement, different timing, and a different quality of connection. Konpa and Kizomba are distinct dances with different cultural origins and musical structures, even though they influence one another. A great dancer doesn't force Kizomba onto Konpa music. They listen. They adapt. They respect what's in front of them. Leadership is no different. Many leaders have one default mode: The way they run every meeting. The way they manage every employee. The way they solve every problem. But exceptional leaders change without changing who they are. They adapt their communication to the person. Their pace to the moment. Their leadership to what the situation requires. Adaptability isn't inconsistency. It's evidence that you're paying attention. Leadership, like partner dancing, isn't about proving how good you are. It's about creating the conditions where the person in front of you can move with confidence. Where in your leadership are you still dancing the right moves... to the wrong music? #Leadership #Adaptability #EmbodiedLeadership by @dje_kins
