This beautiful woman. This new life being created. Captured perfectly in time. I fall more in love every single day, and can’t wait to watch you shower our baby with ❤️.

Took most of 2020 off from posting. .
.
This year was hard on me/us like it was for most. Work stress, life stress, pandemic stress, the stress of watching America repeat itself in its treatment of black and brown people. It took its toll.. .
.
It was a lot, but I’m thankful to be heading into ‘21 healthy, employed, and mentally upright. . .
.
A few highlights from this year: the one time we went out (almost literally), Luna, renovating the back yard, and finally getting a bike. .

Everybody keep your head up, the roaring 20s are on the way. Y’all be nice to each other. taken in Durham, North Carolina by @djforge

Me on IG: cool AF doing music and helping athletes get ready for games.
Me IRL: wasting my TV cameo by wrapping up cables at the end of the game 🤦🏽‍♂️ .

Can’t believe I ran my first race (a half marathon!) this weekend. 13.1 miles is no joke, (especially since I have asthma) and anyone that watches my stories knows how many miles I put in just getting ready. .
.
I planned for it, and felt super ready a week out. But as @miketyson said: “everybody has a plan until they get punched in the mouth.” — and my punch in the mouth was nonstop pouring rain the whole time. I’m just happy to say I still finished. I’m also happy to take a break from running lol. .
.
.
Thank you @vnchavis for dealing with me waking up early even on the weekends, and for convincing me to invest in myself in a variety of ways. . .
.
Thank you @danacalder, @e_duh, and @kmann12 for the ongoing encouragement (and peer pressure lol) Thank you @rebullrunning for jump starting my interest in running. And also to @shafferdc and @teambrkthru for the inspiration from afar. taken in Durham, North Carolina by @djforge

Had the best time in DC celebrating our 3rd Anniversary. I’m grateful the for the opportunity to be your husband, because it’s taught me so much about myself, and made me a better person in the process .
.
.

Thank you for putting up with my shenanigans for another year - I can’t wait to see what the next one holds for us . .
