Vans OTW Half Cab Reissue 33 Foam LX in Warm Grey

A unique take on a luxury looking Vans shoe. These were part of the OTW Foam Classics pack, and although they didn't necessarily fly off the shelves initially, I think quite a few people wanted them...just at a discounted price. Like me. Scored these from the outlet!

Vans OTW Old Skool 36 Vibram Black

Keeping it rolling with the Style 36s, here we have the first release to feature the new Vibram outsole made specifically for traditional vulcanized Vans classic models. This color was recalled from sneaker boutiques due to the black dye not being up to their standards. Only the STV Navy pair officially released, but one day these showed up under the radar at my local Vans outlet and here we are. Telling stories!

Vans Premium x Sole Classics Old Skool 36 LX "Do Not Open Until..."

Let's keep it going with another Style 36, this time from our longtime friends over at @soleclassics, who've put out some of the most unique and meaningful Vans collaborations we've ever seen. This release centered around a time capsule concept, featuring a hidden layer underneath the side panels, as well as signatures hidden underneath the footbeds with each person who got to take part in the design of this shoe at Vans HQ, through a youth program led by @diontejohnson where they were awarded a trip to California for their outstanding efforts. Nobody else is doing anything close to this in our sneaker culture and that's why I agree that these are the #bestdamnvansintheland.

Vans Vault OG Style 36 LX STV Navy

For the classics, this would be in my top 3 of all time. The STV Navy color combinations is iconic in itself, and to put it on a Style 36 is as good as it gets. I want the pearlized version too, just so I can add it to the collection for archival purposes. I gotta catch em all!

Vans Premium Old Skool 36 "Souvenir Pack" Warm Brown

Inspired by a vintage Chanel bag, this was the first colorway to come out and still looks the best to me. Yes it's still a bit much for my fashion tastes, but I was mainly drawn to the hardware attached to them, plus I didn't foresee Vans beating a dead horse with this design. Do you think all the new colors being released take away from this initial pair?

Vans Harbor Mule VR3 Khaki Beige

The perfect lounging around the house slipper doesn't exis...😄. Yes it does, and it's finally here. Are mules still in style or am I (and Vans) late to the party again? Gary seemed to be unbothered by them in the background. Got these with that F&F coupon too! Beware sizing is a bit large, so go down one or even two whole sizes.

Vans Premium x A Bathing Ape Knu Skool LX Camo Green

Vans and @bape_us are back at it again with a proven design formula. Colorful camo and Bapesta logos will always be relevant for me. I do feel like these are almost about a year late, but this can happen when chasing hype and the ultra fast fashion culture. I wonder how history will look at this era of Vans sneakers?

Vans Premium Old Skool 36 LX Black Marshmallow

These Style 36's stay in my current rotation and are my favorite Vans silo of all time. I wish Vans didn't change the official name by deciding to call them Old Skool 36s because they're not Old Skools. They'll always be Style 36's. The short and stubby toe cap, wider tongue and longer lace eyerow deserves to have that distinction, don't you all agree? Vans has always been known to tweak minor things on shoes, and sometimes it's for improvement, but us Vans snobs love pointing out the minor differences so we can have conversations about it. Let's get back to doing things with more thought and intention please! These are more than just Vans lows.

Vans Syndicate x S/Double Sk8-Low "S" Navy

Can anyone tell me why Stussy chapter tees, specifically Honolulu ones are so hyped right now? There's a Stussy warehouse sale tomorrow and the last time I went, they stopped putting them out. Anyways, @shawnstussy is friends with the peeps who created Vans Syndicate, so when he launched S/Double, they worked together on these beautiful and timeless Sk8-Lows. Details like premium leather, ballistic nylon, and debossed Syndicate logos on the heels in Shawn's signature handwriting make these so great.
