Once A DJ is 50! And to mark the occasion I thought it’d be great to get the one and only @djhudson on the show.

I linked up with Hudson about 20 years ago, and the more time I spent with him, the more I learnt about music, digging, DJing, mixes and more, so on this episode we chat about his journey and DJing in a way you maybe wouldn’t normally with a mate.

Additional slides are some of my favourites of his mixes from over the years, all available on his mixcloud.

Hope you enjoy, it’s in all the usual places! by @djhudson

Every time I go away somewhere I always say “I’m not that bothered about going in any record shops…” I don’t know why I try to gaslight myself 😩😂

Shout out to these fantastic shops in Porto - @portocalling @vinyl.disc @8mmrecords @louielouie.porto - highly recommend all of these if you’re in the area! taken in Porto, Portugal by @djhudson

Did this blend of Crooklyn Dodgers with a @realpeterock instrumental on the recent @lwstd.fm radio show - feels a little sacrilegious to remove the classic Q Tip production but let’s not dwell on that!

My radio show for @lwstd.fm is now on Mixcloud to listen back - a selection of things I’m listening to at the moment, some new stuff and some old stuff, plus a little jungle selection at the end 🔥🔥 taken in Vibe Library by @djhudson

Agree with this statement from @daddydarkrdc 100% - I’ve seen so many people going for all the rares and overlooking the cheap heat!

This is from Charlie Dark’s @thevinylfactory talk which you can watch on YouTube - highly recommended!

I was at Bustler Derby on Friday and recorded the set. As always, it was completely unplanned, I just like to vibe it out and see where it goes.

Here are a few clips from the night. Would anyone be interested in hearing the full set?
