Oh July 8, forever and always etched in my heart. 87 years ago today my mom, Sharee Cook Hawkins, was born. ❤️❤️💔❤️❤️

In her honor I had a Hershey’s Almond bar…not only is it chocolate almond bar day today (thanks Sandra Boynton 😉), but my earliest memory of said type of candy bar goes back to when I was maybe 6( Lorin Hawkins - Dad?). My mom was taking an adult education class in art and it was held at Sammamish Sr High. Dad and I would stop and get candy bars before picking her up. The Hershey’s almond was always for her. 😊

First time in a pet supply store since losing Bubba (specialty food for Hattie to keep her well fed as I’ve explained to her she’s not joining her brother for a LONG time!!!)….burst into tears, very kind cashier & other customer were understanding. 💔💔 by @djillpugh

Bubba is over the rainbow bridge. To say I’m gutted and broken just isn’t strong enough. We’ve lost 40% of our pet family in ten days. He was magnificent and sweet and one hell of a cat. I try to remember we got 11 “bonus” years…they told us when the cancer attacked him at 1 years old that the chemo might, at best, give us one more year. We got 12 more. by @djillpugh

Dear Universe,

Seriously WTF??!! {insert guttural cry and screams here} We lost our beloved Parker 8 short days ago and now tonight I’m here in the animal ER with our Bubba boy. He suddenly went blind Friday night and hasn’t been real interested in food or water. Could be a high blood pressure event or it could be cancer. 😞🤞🤞 by @djillpugh

It’s been around 24 hours and I’m still in tears. Parker took matters into her own paws and passed away yesterday. She was a very special dog - everyone says that but this girl had legit *fans* everywhere. Her sweet soul is now pain free but I cannot begin to describe how much she will be missed. 💔💔🐾💔💔

Run free baby girl, run free.

Oh man. Taking all good thoughts, prayers and advice. Ms Parker’s back legs are not cooperating real well with the rest of her body. She’s had osteoarthritis for a while, she’s on the max of drugs available for that, so we are trying a Hail Mary combo of cold laser therapy and electric acupuncture. The rest of her 125 pound self is pretty dang healthy so this is a heartbreaking dilemma… by @djillpugh
