Looking back at this pic from one of my first jams with @djinnmtl. I didn’t expect to fall so in love with the project. I feel lucky to be part of it and also grateful to have been given a leap of faith even though I’m still a beginner at playing bass. Thank you @kaelseitan @jeenzz and @shabjira for the confidence 💚🖤 by @djinnmtl

The world wants us to look left while they burn everything on the right. While the world's eyes shift to Lebanon and tensions rise with Iran, do not be fooled. This is not a new conflict. This is the same expansion, the same occupation, the same land being swallowed under a different sky.

Palestine is still bleeding.
Congo is still being erased.
Sudan. Yemen. Myanmar. Haiti.
Iran. Lebanon.

The headlines change.
The suffering does not.

They are distracting us with fires in our own backyards while lighting new ones. Inflation, elections, culture wars. Divide and conquer, while the real conquerors take more land, more lives, more futures.

Do not let them numb you.

Keep fighting for the children of Palestine.
Keep your voice for the voiceless.
Keep your heart open, because this world is on fire, and we are the only water left. taken in l'Hémisphère Gauche by @djinnmtl
