@_flamesdotmalik - Dope Dealer (Invasion Blend) Third and final blend off the "Requiem For A Fiend" mixtape. For this one. I wanted to do a little bit more than just moving reverse from one to the next and calling it a day. I chopped up some vocals from some of New York's best like Mobb Deep, Styles P., Etc., and made a simple hook out of it, adding more flavor to the mixtape. If you ordered a CD of "The Other Side Of The Spoon" from @barsoverbs you'll get the "Requiem For A Fiend" mixtape for free, with this blend on it! 🖼️ & Animation by @dallasvandevorst Major 🫡 to Flames Dot Malik, Black Soprano Family, Divine Crime, Ty Farris, and most importantly BarsOverBS. #flamesdotmalik #BlackSopranoFamily #barsoverbs #tyfarris #mixtape by @djinvasionblends
@tyfarris & @_flamesdotmalik - The Twilight Zone (U Don't Know Mix) Another blend off the "Requiem For A Fiend" mixtape. The idea of putting these two on a classic Just Blaze beat that everyone knows as soon as it comes on, was a must have. This went crazy! How could it not?! If you ordered a CD of "The Other Side Of The Spoon" from @barsoverbs you'll get the "Requiem For A Fiend" mixtape for free, with this blend on it! Major 🫡 to Flames Dot Malik, Black Soprano Family, Divine Crime, Ty Farris, and most importantly BarsOverBS. #flamesdotmalik #BlackSopranoFamily #barsoverbs #tyfarris #mixtape by @djinvasionblends
@_flamesdotmalik & @getbenny - Went Legit Remix (Invasion Blend) While creating this mixtape, I wanted to add Benny The Butcher's presence to the mixtape In some capacity. I isolated Malik's vocals from the original freestyle, and isolated some vocals from Benny from another track. I flipped Benny's vocals onto the Went Legit beat, and repositioned Malik's to be right after him. I guess you could say this is a half blend half remix type of joint but it came out sounding crazy If you ordered a CD of "The Other Side Of The Spoon" from @barsoverbs you'll get the "Requiem For A Fiend" mixtape for free, with this blend on it! Major 🫡 to Flames Dot Malik, Black Soprano Family, Divine Crime, Ty Farris, and most importantly BarsOverBS. #flamesdotmalik #BlackSopranoFamily #barsoverbs #tyfarris #bennythebutcher by @djinvasionblends
💀💀💀NEW MIXTAPE💀💀💀 "Long time coming, I finally found my groove" You may have seen some mixtape work Ive done for @barsoverbs recently, but this is the one that started it all just under a year ago. I knew @tyfarris was working on "NCJC6". Knowing he was a fan of mixtapes back in the day like I was, I hit him with the idea of highlighting the series in mixtape form and he was with it. "The Sniff Sense" was born All tracks personally picked by me, navigating throughout the entire series. It also got some of the best features of the series from artists like @whoisconway @ufofev @_flamesdotmalik @_eddiekaine @jaeskeese @diamond__dallas @prodillinger @substance810 @thereal_snotty @dango_forlaine313 & @inf_mobb_flee ...And no doubt this will go down as one of the best mixtapes to hit the wave!! If you're a first time listener, this will put you on game. If you're already a fan, you know what it is! Major 🫡 to BarsOverBS for pressing up the mixtape and giving the opportunities that came after it. 🫡 To @ronny_the_explorer for nailing the mixtape type artwork. Can't forget to give a major S/O to @skitgod_lukeycage of @the_abyss_podcast for being a part of the process with the interludes. "Now close your eyes and listen with an open mind" #tyfarris #djinvasion #barsoverbs #mixtape #ncjc by @djinvasionblends

3 weeks ago I got hit up by @barsoverbs wanting me to curate a mixtape that would coincide with their release of @_flamesdotmalik & @divinecrime514 new project "The Other Side Of The Spoon". Showcase one of the most aggressive artists from the #BlackSopranoFamily ?...ABSOLUTELY! I immediately went to work & "Requiem For A Fiend" was born. 37 tracks! 70+ minutes! In pure mixtape fashion, you got album cuts, radio freestyles, blends, interludes....shit we even threw in an exclusive that you can't hear anywhere but on this mixtape! Now if you were lucky to grab "The Other Side Of The Spoon" on CD from BarsOverBS.com earlier this week, this mixtape is coming free with that purchase of the CD (See Slide 3). Can't go wrong with that. Big Salute 🫡 to BarsOverBS for trusting me with this project. Big Salute to Flames Dot Malik & Divine Crime. 🖼️ By @dallasvandevorst Big shout-out to @steven.alltime from the All-Time Podcast & @alexa75777 ! Two incredible people who love the culture and highlight everything they can, whether it be through posts or stories. I am grateful for your contributions for this project. by @djinvasionblends

Happy to be called upon to put together the first official @barsoverbs mixtape. The mixtape era was truly something special and introduced me to so many artists. It's dope to hear the music that artists are making today and put that mixtape feel to it. 💽💽💽 This tape highlights the best of the best from all the projects artists released under BarsOverBS imin 2022. 30+ tracks from Ty Farris, Mickey Diamond, WaterR, Pro Dillinger, Sean Links and more. The mixtape is out on my bandcamp now‼️ Peace to @tyfarris & @barsoverbs for the opportunity. Major 🫡 to everyone else involved to make this happen 🖼️ By @ronny_the_explorer by @djinvasionblends
