Thanks to @vekked @djdopey @deejaytjr @dj_jtec for putting together the Toronto Turntablist Community scratch battle and open scratch session yesterday at @kingslandingbarbershoppe . It was much needed again in the city, and the camaraderie between our fellow scratch heads was amazing.

Huge congrats to @djshub and VTRN @needle__and__groove for killing it!

Felt good to reconnect with so many of Toronto’s finest turntablists (too many to tag) that i haven’t seen since pre-COVID, and met some new friends as well. Hopefully see y’all in a few weeks at the Canadian DMC Finals! ✌️

Dusty cuts 🔪

Scratching has always been one of my therapeutic outlets. I never liked the way that I sound or my flow (if any 😂) but always looking to improve. Like with any art-form, practice makes perfect and you refine your flaws. I was listening to one of the @skratcherpodcast shows and it was suggested to record yourself, review it and work on fixing what you don’t like. So I did just that this morning during an impromptu scratch break. TBH watching it back makes me cringe but hey, it’s part of the growth process. You’re always your own worst critic. Keep cutting! 👍
