This was a good evening where people gathered to raise funds to support breast cancer. Met other artists, socialized a bit, and showed my work so I call it a good night. by @djlaoshi

Decided to showcase the completed Bra art piece for "A Pink Affair" event happening tonight. And did another project that was new for me when it came to technique. I am super pleased and looking forward to this evening. Cheers. by @djlaoshi

I dropped off my art piece for "A Pink Bra Affair," a fundraiser in support of strides against breast cancer. Then they explained the idea behind the embellished bras and a day later, I am decking out a bra art piece for the event. I am having a lot of fun and I am looking forward to the end result. taken in The Sanctuary Church in Ft. Lauderdale, FL by @djlaoshi

This piece "One and the Same II," is my favorite piece. I love the piercing eyes and the beads embroidered on the body. If there is any animal that represents constant change, it would be the snake. The simple act of shedding its skin, has connected it to immortality and change. This is available through Gasper Arts and will be on display until November 2. taken in Gasper Arts Center by @djlaoshi

This was a great exercise because I have been curious about getting into mural work and this was the first time doing a mural and one in chalk. This was 3x5 feet and this turned out pretty well for a first try. The piece was made 5 years and at the time, I thought the piece was great, until it was pointed out that it came with an energy that says fight fire with fire. I am open to suggestions as to how to modify the painting so as not to match the energy but to supercede it in such a way that it builds a new world. Let me know your thoughts. But I am glad for the experience and look forward to doing more projects like this. taken in H.O.M.E.S., Inc. by @djlaoshi

Yesterday’s Art13 & Vicki Rosenthal Art – Fall of Freedom Art Event was absolutely amazing!

Each artist brought their A-game, showcasing incredible creativity and powerful messages in so many unique forms — whether their work was plastered on Chalk the Wall, Chalk the Walk, displayed on a garden sign, painted on canvas, created on hands, featured on a postcard, or even molded into art.

The creativity, passion, and inspirational messages from every artist truly conveyed a powerful message about freedom, expression, and the power of art.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who participated and helped make this event so special! 🎨❤️

And congratulations to our cash prize winners: @billivaarts, @djlaoshi
, and @moodiidcreator ! 🏆🎉

Regardless of the prizes, every artist did an amazing job, and your work deserves to be celebrated!

We’re excited that the artwork is now on public view at the HOMES Campus, 690 NE 13th Street, Fort Lauderdale. Please stop by and experience the creativity and powerful messages for yourself!

Congratulations to all of the artists, and thank you for sharing your talent and vision with our community! 🎨✨
