Me Masterstepz and my Fam Shy FX.

We’ve both been doing this music thing for a long long time over 30 years

Both coming from sound system and reggae, then going on our own journeys through jungle, garage, radio, producing, DJing and playing all over the world.

We’ve seen the music change so many times, seen people come and go, but we’re still here doing what we love and still pushing forward.

Big respect to Shy for everything he’s done and continues to do for the culture.

Decades in and we’re still at it.

And there’s plenty more to come. 🔥🔥🔥

GIVING FLOWERS 🌹

Over the years I’ve had some incredible DJs play at my events. Artists who haven’t just played the music, but helped shape the culture.

First up, the legend GRANT NELSON.

DJ. Producer. Remixer. Pioneer.

From Nice ’N’ Ripe and Swing City to Bump & Flex, N’n’G and countless productions and remixes, Grant’s contribution to UK House & Garage runs deep.

He didn’t just witness the culture. He helped BUILD it.

A privilege to have had him play for us.

Respect Grant. Thank you for the music and your service to the culture. 🫡🌹

More flowers incoming…

These pictures say everything.

Good people. Big smiles. Proper energy. This is what our parties have always been about.

I’ve been mapping out the next 16 months and there’s A LOT coming.

After everything recently, we need moments like this. To switch off, reconnect, dance and enjoy being together.

See yourself in the pictures? TAG YOURSELF + YOUR CREW.

We’ve been working quietly behind the scenes on what comes next.

Now it’s time to take things HIGHR.

BIG ANNOUNCEMENT TUESDAY. 👀 by @djmasterstepz
