Last week was incredible! Six gigs in eight days, including warming up for @jowhiley on her @90santhems tour which I absolutely love doing! I also got to spend a couple of days down in Brighton filming a documentary on Happiness, alongside @officialfatboyslim, still pinching myself tbh. The project is run by @profpauldolan who’s one of the leading experts on Happiness across the world, undoubtedly one of the most best and most interesting things I have ever done! All filmed at @tomvenue in Hove which is so fab - and as part of it we got to see Norman DJ a three hour set in a 400 capacity venue. It was BRILLIANT!! All photographed by the lovely @katebamberphotographic 🩷

I spent the day at the brilliant @shackrevolution, to shoot a walk through video of what you get when you book me solo or with @the_disco_ceilidh to fire up your party. Please watch it through - I’d love to get your feedback in the comments below!
For me the look and feel of a DJ’s set up is so important, it visually sets the tone for night and the better it looks the more fun you’re guests will have - and my tip-top lighting will really help your dancefloor fizz. But the music is of course the most important element of the night, the better the tunes sound the better the atmosphere on the dancefloor. I’ve got two amazing speaker set-ups for different size venues, and that means that I have all the kit required to get your celebration popping off!
I’ve DJ’d at so many epic parties at Shack, if you like the look of what you see and are on the hunt for a creative, fresh venue that totally rocks - then you’ve found it!
Big shout out to @georgedownesmedia for the video!

Brilliant weekend! Warming up for @jowhiley on her @90santhems tour alongside @tobyspin @gliveguildford. Then off to play at one of my fave venues tomorrow night @stgileshouseweddings - check out the video of their incredible night club with custom built DJ booth inside a wine barrell. Lush!

✨ 200 FIVE-STAR REVIEWS! ✨

Feeling incredibly proud to have reached 200 five-star reviews for my DJing - thinking back over all the parties, the miles driven, the number of times I have loaded and unloaded my van, and set up and de-rigged all of my kit! It’s been quite a journey since lockdown, and I’ve enjoyed it so so much.
Every review represents a client who has trusted me to be part of a special occasion, from weddings to birthday celebrations to festivals. Being able to create the right atmosphere, deliver exceptional service and keep dance floors popping is something I absolutely love, and take incredibly seriously!
To everyone who has booked me, recommended me or taken the time to leave a review — thank you! It genuinely means so much to know that so many people have taken the time to share their kind words and positive experiences.
I’m really looking forwards to a less frenetic few months over the autumn & winter, and resetting the balance between work and rest, as well spending lots more time with the fam and friends.
2027 is looking really exciting, and I’m pretty much fully booked from April right through to the end of September. But do drop me a DM if you’d like to chat about your party, especially for next autumn or into 2028 - both for solo DJ parties or if you wanna bring @the_disco_ceilidh to your knees up!
Link to my Google reviews is in my bio - sit down, grab a cup of tea and read through them!

Spring / summer season has been a blast - 72 gigs in just 26 weeks, from Dorset to London to Brighton to Cardiff to Nottingham and pretty much every where in between!
Loads of highlights, but it’s been particularly satisfying to see our @the_disco_ceilidh grow and develop this year, @greenmanfest (with @greenpartyzack on the dancefloor) @thebigfeastival, @shambalafest were all brilliant alongside loads of lovely private parties and weddings - lots of exciting stuff in the pipeline for the next 12 months.
Having my Mum, Dad, Ada, sister Clare & Matilda all at @wildernesshq alongside my @villagecircus family was so epic, and they all loved it so much. Our Ibiza Brass show with all of them on the dancefloor was pretty special, something I will never forget.
Overall though I definitely put too much pressure on myself, and all the gigs and driving, prep and logistics, and ridiculously long days put an enormous strain on both myself and the family, and I’m making some changes for 2027 to bring a better balance to my work / life set up!
Next big thing on the horizon is our biggest @the_disco_ceilidh performance so far - hosting the after party at @batterseaparklondon Fireworks in front of over 2,000 people - more deets to come!

@hereford_indie_food festival was wet, wild & absolutely BRILLIANT! Such an incredible vibe all weekend, on Saturday we went back to the 90’s with @decadesdubclub @jakeofdiamondsmusic, Ibiza Brass and our lovely headliners @kevinandperryofficial. Sunday night saw the return of the master @craigcharlesfunkandsoul alongside @beatlesdubclub The Spitfires and @hay_shantymen. Such a joyful atmosphere, @the_yard_hereford was rocking from start to finish, all beautifully captured by @georgedownesmedia ❤️❤️

How I present myself when I’m DJing at your wedding or party is super important - for me, colourful music, and party bangers go hand in hand with a considered look that has been thought through and discussed with you in advance. If you want a DJ stood in the corner wearing a plain black t-shirt and scruffy jeans, then I’m probably not the DJ for you!
I spent the morning at the brilliant @shackrevolution to shoot this walk through video which showcases some of my jackets - for more formal affairs, or perhaps the start of your party, then a velvet jacket and crisp white shirt can often be the most appropriate look - I’ve got loads of different colours to match the palette of your big day!
But once the sun goes down and the dancing kicks off, I can really bring the party with one of my (huge) collection of incredible @stateofdisarray sequin jackets. They match my black sequin DJ booth, and are the perfect way to ramp up the vibes as we party into the night! I can bring all of them with me which means if you or your friends want to grab one for the evening and upgrade your dancefloor look then that’s all part of the service, they look so great in the late night photos, they are iconic!
Let me know which jacket is your fave in the comments below, and drop me a DM to chat about me bringing my suitcase of @stateofdisarray to your party!

It was a joy capturing some of the moments at the @hereford_indie_food featuring the never failing vibes of @djmax_galactic , Ibiza Brass and the legendary @craigcharlesfunkandsoul - when people are still throwing shapes in the pouring rain holding umbrellas you just know the music is hitting right. Thanks for putting on a great event for city of Hereford 🙌 #sonya7c #herefordshire #photographer #videographer #event taken in Hereford, Herefordshire by @djmax_galactic
