Made it to Kansas… thought I was gonna end up in Oz!!!

We got rerouted into a real life dirt road corn maze by flash flooding. So we limped into Wichita literally.

I just want to shout out all those who reached out, for all the likes, the private messages, texts, screenshots and other interactions that have come through during this process. I have talked to people I haven’t in awhile and I love that energy. I promise I will have a full download of my experience for you all soon. But for now if you haven’t already… go check out season 5 of The Floor. Streaming on Hulu and live Wednesday nights on Reality Club FOX. by @djmrg

As artists, we often can’t think beyond the next gig. That ability to lock in is what has gotten us to the heights that we have reached in our career.

Performing is our passion—but stability is the goal.

4/22, DFOY music and I will be hosting Paid, Protected, & Positioned at @ollu_ifcc : one hour, practical session, focused on sustaining the career you have built and planning for the future.

A few pics from the Culture Commons event. It’s always a pleasure to rock with my sister Andrea Vocab Sanderson. All the poets were amazing. I had the opportunity to write a piece honoring the work of the great Barbara Felix. Shout out to Andrew Gearhart for making it all possible and Darrell Pittman for the pics. See you all next year! by @djmrg
